About The Position

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This hybrid role is located in either NYC or Newtown Square, PA, requiring 3 days onsite per week. The internship is full-time, 40 hours per week, with an expected start date in July 2026 and end date in July 2027. The Talent Discovery team has an exciting opportunity where interns will learn all aspects of SAP’s recruiting process, including client management, sourcing, candidate selection, and offer negotiation.

Requirements

  • Ideally pursuing a master’s degree in HR, Psychology, or a related field; seniors in a bachelor’s program will be considered
  • Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a bachelor’s or master’s program (or JD/PhD)
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to scrub and interpret data using formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups, and graphs
  • Strong PowerPoint and graphic design skills
  • Strong networking skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Organized with a high attention to detail
  • High initiative and strong independent worker
  • Ability to work with ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting operations support (e.g., weekly updates on open/filled requisitions), special project tracking, and presentation-ready decks
  • Support AI adoption through communications and enablement (e.g., job aids, training notes, best practices) and help track adoption metrics and feedback loops
  • Shadow and train under senior recruiters
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Recruit for intern and Academy hiring vacancies across North America
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to determine hiring needs, devise and execute effective recruiting strategies, and provide a central source of support and knowledge to the businesses
  • Manage all phases of the recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, selecting candidates, negotiating, presenting offers, and finalizing hires
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients, colleagues, and other team members to create partnerships that yield a pipeline of key talent
  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates, including screening, timely feedback, and onboarding, and ensure that every candidate has a positive experience
