SAP Finance Controlling Manager
About The Position
The SAP Finance Controlling Manager will support a live SAP S/4HANA aerospace and defense program operating within a classified environment. The consultant will provide ongoing functional expertise across FI/CO processes while also contributing to requirements, solution design, build, testing, and deployment for future program increments. This role serves as a functional SME partnering closely with business users, production operations, and testing teams to ensure successful delivery across the program lifecycle. Candidates must bring strong hands‑on SAP S/4HANA FI/CO experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and comfort working within a secure, mission‑critical environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA FI/CO expertise
- Experience with SAP Controlling (Project Systems), Labor Costing and/or Material Costing, and Period‑end Accounting Close and FI‑GL/AP
- At least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation project
- Natural US-born Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Minimum of an active Secret Clearance
- Must live local OR be willing to travel to one of the following locations every week Monday-Friday or a modified schedule of Monday-Thursday: St. Louis, MO (preferred location), Philadelphia, PA, Arlington, VA, Huntington Beach, CA

- Experience with SAP PMMO/GPD or FAR actual cost tracking
- Aerospace and Defense industry experience
- Experience supporting classified environments
- Experience supporting project‑based manufacturing or defense programs
- Experience supporting large‑scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
Responsibilities
- Serve as the S/4HANA FI/CO functional SME supporting business users and operations in the classified environment
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment activities, production support, and defect resolution
- Support requirements, solution design, build, testing, and release activities for future program increments
- Develop and deliver user guides, training materials, and end‑user support
- Plan and coordinate accounting‑related deployment and cutover activities
