About The Position

WOONGJIN, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced SAP FI/CO professional who is bilingual in Korean and English. This role involves analyzing customer requirements, developing project plans, providing full support to end-users, and managing the implementation and optimization of SAP FI module processes. The ideal candidate will identify user needs, provide training and documentation, build strong user relationships, and offer ongoing support. This position requires strategic guidance, process improvement formulation, and the ability to act as primary on-call support for troubleshooting and correcting system issues, including off-hours and holiday support during critical periods like month-end closing and special promotions.

Requirements

EST 9 to 6 support required
Bilingual (Korean and English)
8+ years of experience as a functional or business consultant with SAP applications
Experience within SAP FI in an ECC 6 environment
Full lifecycle SAP implementation with expertise in FI
In-depth technical knowledge working with EDI related systems and architecture
Project management experience that involves conceptualizing, organizing, planning, executing test, training users and documenting training materials
Demonstrated experience and understanding of system development life cycle, dynamics of application development and information technology practices and methods
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills exemplified in team work, understanding of business and customer requirement and good communication
Willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions including the persistency and willingness to take calculated risk within the organization
Able to understand customer priorities and work toward accomplishing those priorities
Ability to perform in a high pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems
Manage the time and attention based on assigned job roles and objectives

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in computer science / related discipline with an information technology focus
SAP Public Cloud experience preferred
S/4 Hana experience preferred
TR, AR, Sales Deduction module experience preferred
ABAP debugging skill preferred
Experienced in processing a variety of EDI document types and familiarity

Responsibilities

Analyze customer requirements and tailor the system to meet objectives.
Develop project plans and timelines for solution deployment and data conversion.
Provide full support to users across all relevant company sites.
Identify and understand end-users' technical SAP FI requirements, provide training and documentation, build user relationships, and offer ongoing support.
Support and communicate with HQ for implementation management and optimization of new and existing processes within the SAP FI module.
Formulate process improvements based on support issues to minimize recurring support needs.
Provide strategic guidance to users in defining or designing processes to meet customer requirements.
Document existing customer business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend system improvements.
Provide backup for SAP consultants as needed.
Monitor and report on the status of issues, review performance against operating standards, and provide reports.
Serve as the primary on-call support person for troubleshooting and correcting system issues.
Provide off-business hours and holidays support during month-end closing, special sale promotion periods, and critical issue situations.
