About The Position

Join our team supporting USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), a mission‑critical enterprise platform modernizing transportation, logistics, and financial operations through SAP S/4HANA ERP integration. We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer with strong SAP expertise to perform hands‑on manual testing for a large‑scale SAP implementation. In this role, you’ll collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure delivery of reliable, scalable SAP solutions.

Requirements

Active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of manual software testing of large‑scale ERP systems.
Hands‑on SAP S/4HANA testing experience, including workflows and integrations; strong preference for SAP FI and CO module experience.
Solid understanding of SAFe, SDLC, and Agile development practices.
Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

ISTQB or similar testing certification.
Experience with ServiceNow CWM for Agile test management and defect tracking.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Git.
Prior experience supporting federal agencies or DoD clients.

Responsibilities

Review user stories and functional requirements to identify test scenarios, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
Design, build, and maintain test scripts for SAP FI and CO modules, workflows, and integrations.
Execute functional testing across JTMS modules and customizations within a SAFe Agile framework.
Document defects with detailed reproduction steps, track issues to resolution, and communicate findings to development teams.
Partner with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure full test coverage.
Create and maintain test cases, data sets, and traceability matrices aligned with SAFe practices.
Engage in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and QA best practices.
