Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical field
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in networking and wireless technologies
In-depth knowledge of Wi-Fi fundamentals, including 802.11 protocols (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be)
Understanding of Wi-Fi antennas, frequency coordination, WLAN technologies, and IP protocols
Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Solid scripting skills for test automation
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Consistent, punctual, and adaptable to variable schedules

Nice To Haves

Experience with home networking protocols and technologies (Bluetooth, Matter, etc.)
Background in broadband product testing (DOCSIS, Ethernet, Cable modem standards)
Hands-on experience with high-performance consumer device testing
Familiarity with automated product test environments and maintenance
Ability to work effectively with technology partners and vendors
Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages relevant to test automation

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive Wi-Fi test strategies for new product launches and enhancements
Analyze and characterize Wi-Fi behavior, resolving complex engineering investigations and product defects
Review product requirements and design specifications with a focus on architecture, testability, and verification
Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams to define technical and product requirements
Participate in the development and refinement of quality assurance methodologies and test automation frameworks
Identify, reproduce, and drive resolution of product bugs and issues
Stay up to date with industry trends and standards (IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF)
Support architecture decisions and troubleshooting efforts with technology partners and vendors
