About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP EHS Consultant with a strong background in the Product Safety module. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, and support of SAP EHS functionalities, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Global Label Management (GLM), Dangerous Goods Management, and more. This role requires a deep understanding of systems integration, data management, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Experience with third-party EH&S software and reporting tools like PowerBI is also essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on functional and configuration experience in Product Safety module within SAP EHS.
  • Proven experience with Safety Data Sheets (SDS – Vendor and Material), Global Label Management (GLM), Dangerous Goods Management, WWI, Substance Volume Tracking, quarterly EHS Regulatory Content (ERC).
  • 5+ years of experience working with any 3rd party EH&S/Manufacturing software systems (i.e. Visium KMS, ATR Smart Procedures, Cority etc.).
  • Experience in all phases of systems implementation, including analysis/design, blueprinting, configuration, documentation, testing, training, and support.
  • Experience with PowerBI and report modelling.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, data manipulation, data analysis, and SAP data migration methods.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to investigate in detail, diagnose, and solve complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics in a concise manner (oral/written) to many different audiences, including customers, peers, and leadership.
  • Practical project management skills and experience.
  • Ability to cooperate and work effectively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural team environment.
  • Mandatory Skills: MFG EHSM Advanced (EHSM-Sustainablity-PFM/SCT-Product Compliance-Product Safety)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the integration, configuration, development, and deployment of SAP based systems and relevant third-party software.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance, SAP Materials Management and integration between the two.
  • Working knowledge of reliability concepts - Asset Strategy, Mechanical Integrity, Asset Health, etc. and exposure to reliability systems like GE APM (Meridium) and associated integrations (with SAP, Data Historians etc.).
  • Working knowledge of SAP Project Systems and related applications.
  • Experience in project execution using Agile methodology.
  • Experience with MS Active Directory integration.
  • Knowledge of inventory, procurement, plant maintenance, turnaround, reliability, and operations processes in the petrochemical or refinery industry.
  • Working knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement the Product Safety module within SAP EHS, including SDS (Vendor and Material), Global Label Management (GLM), Dangerous Goods Management, WWI, Substance Volume Tracking, and EHS Regulatory Content (ERC).
  • Work with third-party EH&S/Manufacturing software systems.
  • Participate in all phases of systems implementation: analysis/design, blueprinting, configuration, documentation, testing, training, and support.
  • Develop reports and models using PowerBI.
  • Integrate SAP EHS with other systems, manage data manipulation, data analysis, and perform SAP data migration.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and solve complex technical problems.
  • Communicate complex topics clearly to various audiences.
  • Manage projects effectively.
  • Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural team environment.
  • Integrate, configure, develop, and deploy SAP based systems and relevant third-party software.
  • Integrate SAP Plant Maintenance and SAP Materials Management.
