SAP EAM Technical Consultant
About The Position
Looking for a senior SAP EAM Technical / ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on development experience supporting SAP PM, SM and PS. The candidate should have strong experience developing RICEFW objects, enhancements and integrations, troubleshooting complex SAP issues, and supporting SAP ECC production environments. This is a hands-on SAP Technical/ABAP position. Do not submit generic ABAP developers without EAM/PM experience, SAP Functional Consultants without hands-on ABAP development, SAP Basis Consultants, developers without integration experience, junior ABAP developers, or candidates without SAP ECC production support experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years SAP development / ABAP experience.
- Strong technical experience supporting SAP PM / EAM.
- Experience with SM and PS.
- Strong ABAP development.
- RICEFW development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- User exits and custom enhancements.
- Complex debugging and troubleshooting.
- SAP integration with external/web applications.
- SAP ECC technical experience.
- Unit testing, integration testing and performance tuning.
- Production support experience.
- Experience with OSS Notes, SAP releases and patches.
- Ability to work with SAP Functional Consultants and business teams.
- Comfortable working with technical/configuration teams supporting: SAP PM/EAM, SAP SM, SAP PS, SAP MM, SAP FI, SAP CCS, SAP BW.
- Understand technical dependencies and integrations.
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Hands-on ABAP development experience specifically supporting SAP PM/EAM, SM and PS.
- Experience developing RICEFW objects in SAP.
- Experience integrating SAP with external or web applications.
- Experience troubleshooting complex SAP production issues, including debugging, performance tuning, enhancements/user exits and OSS Notes.
Responsibilities
- Develop RICEFW objects, enhancements, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
- Support SAP ECC production environments.
- Participate in blueprinting/design sessions.
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot whether an issue is related to ABAP/development, configuration, process or security.
- Mentor other technical team members.
- Support production issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation when required.
