About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM Functional Lead with a strong background in asset-intensive industries, particularly Aerospace & Defense. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance implementations, upgrades, and rollouts. This role requires deep domain expertise in A&D maintenance processes, including depot-level and line maintenance, fleet maintenance, serialized equipment, configuration control, and compliance-driven asset tracking. Experience with MRO business processes and regulated environments is crucial. The lead will be responsible for configuring SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance and leveraging Fiori for EAM roles, as well as understanding various integration points within the SAP ecosystem and with third-party systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of relevant SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance consulting experience in asset-intensive industries.
• At least 6 full end-to-end SAP EAM implementation projects.
• Additional experience in SAP deployments, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Demonstrated domain expertise in Aerospace & Defense.
• Familiarity with depot-level and line maintenance models.
• Familiarity with fleet maintenance, serialized equipment, and configuration control.
• Familiarity with defense sustainment, overhaul & refurbishment, and compliance-driven asset tracking.
• Experience with government and customer-owned property management, UID tracking, and audit readiness.
• Strong background in Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) business processes within asset-intensive industries.
• Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven environments aligned with A&D standards and defense procurement cycles.
• Hands-on configuration expertise in SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Configuration expertise in PM Master Data: Functional Locations, Equipment Masters, Bills of Material (BOMs), Task Lists, Measurement Points & Counters, Work Centers, Maintenance Plans.
• Configuration expertise in Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Time-based and counter-based maintenance plans, scheduling parameters, call horizons, cycle tolerances, and maintenance strategies.
• Configuration and deployment experience of mobile EAM solutions including SAP Service and Asset Manager / SAP Asset Manager.
• Experience with Condition-Based & Predictive Maintenance leveraging SAP Intelligent Asset Management capabilities including SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) and IoT integration.
• Experience with Refurbishment of Components and Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) processes.
• Configuration expertise in Notification Management: Notification types, status profiles, damage/cause codes, failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), and activity catalogs.
• Configuration expertise in Work Order Management: Order types, operations, confirmations, settlement rules, partner functions, and maintenance workflows.
• Proven experience implementing SAP S/4HANA with Fiori Tiles for EAM roles, including Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Technician, and Resource Scheduling personas.
• Ability to design and deploy Fiori launchpad configurations and role-based access aligned to client operating structures.
• Strong understanding of EAM integration with MM (Materials Management – spare parts, reservations, external procurement, MRO stockroom).
• Strong understanding of EAM integration with QM (Quality Management).
• Strong understanding of EAM integration with PP (Production Planning).
• Strong understanding of EAM integration with SD (Sales & Distribution).
• Strong understanding of EAM integration with FI/CO (Financial Accounting & Controlling – settlement, cost centers, asset accounting).
• Strong understanding of EAM integration with WM/EWM (Warehouse/Extended Warehouse Management).
• Strong understanding of EAM integration with PS (Project Systems – capital projects).
• Strong understanding of EAM integration with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management – engineering systems, CAD integration).
• Awareness of integration with defense logistics systems, third-party MRO tools, and engineering/CAD platforms.
• Knowledge of the SAP Intelligent Asset Management suite, including SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) – risk & criticality assessments, RCM, FMEA.
• Knowledge of SAP Asset Intelligence Network (AIN).

Responsibilities

• Configure SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) including master data, planning & scheduling, mobile execution, condition-based & predictive maintenance, refurbishment processes, notification management, and work order management.
• Implement SAP Fiori Tiles for EAM roles (Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Technician, Resource Scheduling) and design Fiori launchpad configurations.
• Manage and configure mobile EAM solutions like SAP Service and Asset Manager / SAP Asset Manager.
• Leverage SAP Intelligent Asset Management capabilities, including SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) and IoT integration.
• Oversee the configuration and deployment of mobile EAM solutions.
• Ensure alignment with client operating structures for Fiori launchpad configurations and role-based access.
• Understand and manage EAM integration with MM, QM, PP, SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, PS, and PLM modules.
• Integrate with defense logistics systems, third-party MRO tools, and engineering/CAD platforms.
• Utilize SAP Intelligent Asset Management suite, including SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) for risk & criticality assessments, RCM, FMEA, and SAP Asset Intelligence Network (AIN).
