SAP EAM/PS Consultant – Utilities
About The Position
CTG is seeking to fill an SAP EAM/PS Consultant – Utilities position for our client. This role serves as an SAP EAM and PS subject matter expert supporting utilities clients in asset-intensive environments. The consultant will design, configure, and implement SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Project Systems (PS) solutions, and support SAP FIN PS solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and financial processes. The role involves leading or contributing to capital investment project solution design and execution, providing advisory support to business stakeholders, and translating requirements into scalable SAP solutions. Responsibilities also include overseeing and supporting data migration activities for asset and project-related data, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful SAP solution integration and delivery, and participating in full lifecycle implementation activities including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. The consultant will apply utility industry best practices to optimize asset lifecycle and capital project management processes.
Requirements
- SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management)
- SAP PS (Project Systems), including SAP FIN PS integration
- EEPM experience
- Strong experience in electric utilities industry
- Asset management and lifecycle processes
- Capital investment project management
- Data migration (assets and project systems)
- SAP solution design, configuration, and implementation
- Strong techno-functional SAP expertise
- Extensive hands-on SAP EAM and PS implementation/support experience in utilities environments
- Proven experience delivering SAP solutions for asset-intensive organizations
- Strong background in capital project systems and asset lifecycle management
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders in a consultative/advisory capacity
- Full lifecycle SAP project delivery experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
