About The Position

Bosch Service Solutions is seeking an SAP D2M and MDM-MAT Technical Consultant to translate business requirements into technical specifications, design SAP solutions, and implement/configure SAP-based solutions for Engineering, Product Data Management, PLM, and Material Master Data processes. The role involves supporting the technical evolution of D2M and MDM-MAT capabilities across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Public Cloud, designing data models, system functionalities, interfaces, and technical controls. The consultant will ensure solutions support global process standards, data quality, and consistency, analyze system capabilities for optimization, and support integration between various business domains. Collaboration with Process Owners, Product Owners, business experts, developers, and IT teams is crucial, as is supporting agile development activities and providing technical support for transformation and rollout programs. The role also requires creating and maintaining technical documentation and acting as the interface between business requirements and technical implementation teams.

Requirements

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
English B2/C1 proficiency (fluent)
Several years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, Product Data Management, PLM, or related technical/process domains.
Profound knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM), Material Master Data, BOMs, Classification, Change Management, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA, with solid knowledge of SAP MDG-M, SAP Workflow, and related enterprise applications.
Deep understanding of Master Data Management principles, data models, governance structures, and data quality processes.
Experience in SAP solution design, configuration, enhancement, and technical implementation within complex enterprise environments.
Experience in requirements engineering and translating business requirements into technical specifications, system requirements, and implementable solution concepts.
Experience in data migration, data integration, data validation, and data quality management.
Experience in SAP transformation initiatives, preferably including SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or modernization programs.
Good understanding of Product Data Management, Engineering, and related end-to-end business processes.
Ability to assess and balance business requirements, process design, system capabilities, and technical feasibility.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to design sustainable and scalable solutions for complex business requirements.
Experience working with agile development teams and collaborating with developers, architects, Product Owners, Process Owners, and business stakeholders.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities related to SAP master data and integrated business processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills within international and cross-functional environments.
Strong self-management, result orientation, and ability to work effectively in dynamic transformation environments.
Strong willingness to continuously learn and adopt new SAP technologies, system capabilities, and business domains.

Responsibilities

Translate D2M and MDM-MAT business requirements into technical specifications, system designs, and SAP solution concepts.
Implement, configure and enhance SAP-based solutions supporting Engineering, Product Data Management, PLM, and Material Master Data processes.
Support the technical implementation and evolution of D2M and MDM-MAT capabilities across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Public Cloud, and the wider system landscape.
Design and implement data models, system functionalities, interfaces, validations, and technical controls required to support standardized master data processes.
Ensure technical solutions support global process standards, governance requirements, data quality, consistency, and integrity.
Analyze existing system capabilities and identify opportunities for technical optimization, harmonization, digitalization, and automation.
Support integration between Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and other relevant business and system domains.
Collaborate with Process Owners, Product Owners, business experts, developers, architects, and IT teams throughout solution design and implementation.
Support agile development activities, including requirements refinement, solution design, testing, defect resolution, and technical documentation.
Provide technical support for transformation and rollout programs, ensuring that deployed solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the defined target architecture.
Create and maintain technical specifications, solution documentation, configuration documentation, and implementation guidelines.
Act as the key interface between business requirements and the technical implementation teams for D2M and MDM-MAT solutions.
