About The Position

Bosch Service Solutions is seeking an SAP D2M and MDM-MAT Rollout Consultant to drive and support the deployment of standardized processes across organizations, locations, and transformation programs. This role involves analyzing local business requirements, aligning them with global standards, and supporting Process Owners in optimizing processes related to Engineering, PLM, Product Data Management, and Material Master Data. The consultant will coordinate rollout activities, ensure consistent implementation of global standards, and support data migration and validation. They will also define and maintain governance structures, coordinate with various departments, prepare documentation, deliver training, and support organizational change management. The position involves monitoring rollout progress, supporting transitions to future SAP landscapes, measuring business impact, and contributing to continuous improvement and digitalization of D2M and MDM-MAT processes. The role requires willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Requirements

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
English B2/C1 proficiency (fluent)
Several years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, Product Data Management, PLM, Material Master Data, or related business process domains.
Strong functional knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM), Material Master Data, BOMs, Classification, Change Management, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Good understanding of SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG-M, SAP Workflow, and their role within integrated business processes.
Deep understanding of Master Data Management principles, governance models, data ownership, responsibilities, and data quality processes.
Strong understanding of Product Data Management, Engineering, and Material Master Data business processes.
Experience in requirements gathering, fit-to-standard analysis, process design, and translating business needs into process and system specifications.
Experience in SAP transformation and rollout initiatives, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
Practical experience across rollout activities such as process alignment, data preparation, testing, cutover, go-live, stabilization, and user adoption.
Experience in data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and data quality management within rollout or transformation projects.
Experience in creating process documentation, governance concepts, training materials, work instructions, and user guidelines.
Strong ability to coordinate between business functions, Process Owners, Product Owners, IT teams, and technical implementation teams.
Ability to mediate between different stakeholder interests while maintaining alignment with global standards and overall business objectives.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to identify process gaps and define sustainable improvement measures.
Excellent communication, facilitation, moderation, and stakeholder management skills in international and cross-functional environments.
Strong self-management, result orientation, resilience, and ability to manage multiple rollout activities in parallel.
Strong willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, processes, and business domains.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required.

Responsibilities

Drive and support the deployment of standardized D2M and MDM-MAT processes across organizations, locations, and transformation programs.
Analyze local business requirements and processes and align them with globally defined D2M and MDM-MAT target processes and standards.
Support Process Owners in defining, optimizing, and implementing processes related to Engineering, PLM, Product Data Management, and Material Master Data.
Coordinate rollout activities, including fit-to-standard assessments, requirement clarification, process alignment, testing, data preparation, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live.
Ensure consistent implementation of global process, governance, data model, and master data standards across rollout locations.
Support data migration and validation activities to ensure completeness, consistency, quality, and integrity of master data.
Define and maintain governance structures, responsibilities, decision processes, and operational procedures supporting sustainable D2M and MDM-MAT processes.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Process and Product Owners, project teams, and consultants to ensure E2E process integration.
Prepare and maintain business process documentation, rollout documentation, governance concepts, user guidelines, and training materials.
Deliver or coordinate training and knowledge-transfer activities for key users and relevant business stakeholders.
Support organizational change management and user adoption activities related to new processes, governance models, and system capabilities.
Monitor rollout progress, identify process or deployment gaps, and coordinate corrective actions with business and technical teams.
Support the transition toward future SAP landscapes, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP Public Cloud, from a process and deployment perspective.
Measure business impact and contribute to the continuous improvement, standardization, harmonization, and digitalization of D2M and MDM-MAT processes.
