About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead Consultant to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of complex SAP technical solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. The role requires strong SAP technical expertise, extensive manufacturing industry experience, and collaboration with functional teams, business stakeholders, and global delivery teams. The consultant will lead SAP technical development across SAP ECC applications, deliver and support RICEFW objects and ABAP solutions, and contribute to integrations, workflow support, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and code quality. The role also participates in S/4HANA custom code remediation, modernization, and migration initiatives, and explores relevant applications of AI, Generative AI, machine learning algorithms, and prompt engineering in SAP technical solutions.

Requirements

12–15 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
Strong technical expertise in SAP ECC environments, including large-scale enterprise implementations.
Proven experience designing and delivering complex SAP technical developments.
Extensive knowledge of RICEFW development and SAP enhancement frameworks.
Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies and technical architecture.
Mandatory manufacturing industry experience.
Experience supporting and maintaining large-scale SAP ECC landscapes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
SAP ABAP development expertise.
SAP ECC technical expertise.
Experience with AI / Generative AI, machine learning algorithms, and prompt engineering.
Experience with SAP IP-Tools, Workflow / Flexible Workflow (Flexi WF), and SAP integration technologies.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA technical development and modernization.
Exposure to CDS Views, OData services, SAP Fiori, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Experience with SAP Workflow and Flexible Workflow configurations and technical support.
Familiarity with SAP IP tools and AI-enabled technical solutions.
SAP technical certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP technical development activities across SAP ECC applications.
Design, develop, and support RICEFW objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
Develop and maintain ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, enhancements, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
Build and support integrations with external systems using IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs.
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
Perform performance tuning, debugging, root-cause analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
Collaborate with SAP functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Participate in SAP S/4HANA custom code remediation, modernization, and migration initiatives.
Support SAP workflow solutions, including Flexible Workflow (Flexi Workflow), and related SAP technical tools.
Explore and apply AI, Generative AI, machine learning algorithms, and prompt engineering concepts where relevant to SAP technical solutions.
Work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and global delivery teams to support successful project delivery.
