About The Position

We are looking for an SAP technical team member specializing in ABAP and Fiori to support development activities for SAP Finance, particularly Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and related SAP initiatives. The role supports equipment-leasing business processes, including sales and operational leases, and involves working with functional teams to understand requirements, prepare technical designs, develop ABAP objects, support testing, resolve defects, and deliver high-quality solutions. This is a 12-month role based in Sunnyvale, California, with a hybrid work arrangement. The position is described as hardcore technical. RAR module experience is not required, although the role supports work in that area.

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience.
Strong SAP ABAP and Fiori experience.
Strong debugging skills.
Knowledge of enhancements and BADIs, reports, interfaces, IDocs, RFC, OData, and CDS.
Good understanding of SAP FI/CO, SD, leasing, and RAR processes.
ABAP, CDS, OData, and Fiori/UI5 skills.
Finance module experience.
RAR module experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance ABAP objects for leasing, RAR, and finance/logistics processes.
Work on reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, CDS/OData, and integration objects.
Create Fiori applications in the Finance area.
Analyze functional specifications and prepare technical designs.
Support unit testing and UAT, fix defects, and resolve production issues.
Debug and troubleshoot standard and custom SAP issues.
Ensure code is performance-optimized, standards-compliant, and aligned with clean-core principles.
Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams and provide regular status updates.
Maintain technical documentation and transport details.
Work with functional consultants to understand requirements.
