About The Position

ID Logistics is seeking an experienced porter/janitor to maintain a clean and safe work environment inside and outside the distribution center by performing cleaning and maintenance tasks. The role includes cleaning warehouse and office areas, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and walkways; handling waste; replenishing supplies; and potentially performing light maintenance. Associates are expected to follow company policies, safety rules, SOPs, and GMP guidelines, maintain regular attendance and an orderly work area, and promptly report accidents or hazards to a supervisor.

The company describes COVID-era safety practices that include taking temperatures at the start of shifts, increased cleaning and periodic deep cleaning, providing appropriate PPE such as masks, maintaining antibacterial lotion supplies, and practicing social distancing. Schedules listed are weekday sanitation from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, or weekend sanitation from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Pay is listed as $21.50, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for the weekend schedule.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating a high-reach forklift.
• Ability to work in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable and ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse, offices, hallways, break room, restrooms, and other work areas.
• Empty trash containers and transport waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom and break room supplies.
• Keep all walkways clean.
• Perform light maintenance as needed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain regular work attendance.
• Follow safety rules, SOPs, and/or GMP guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Report accidents or hazards immediately to a supervisor.
• Take temperatures with a no-touch thermometer at the start of the shift, as part of the stated safety practices.
• Support increased cleaning routines and periodic deep cleaning.
• Maintain an ample supply of antibacterial lotion throughout the building and practice social distancing.
