About The Position

House-Autry Mills is seeking an energetic Sanitation Worker to provide industrial sanitation services throughout the facility. The role covers common areas, offices, restrooms, production areas, the warehouse, and building grounds. The employee helps keep the facility sanitary and pest-free, maintains clean work areas, and performs duties under the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). The position also supports other areas of the department as needed and ensures compliance with House-Autry quality standards. The required schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. House-Autry supplies a uniform and offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Able to work independently as well as with a team.
Able to work in confined spaces.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Able to climb, crawl, and bend.
Able to work on a scissor lift and perform overhead work at a minimum height of 50 feet.
Able to operate cleaning equipment.
Able to work independently without supervision.

Computer literacy is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Provide industrial sanitation services throughout the plant, including common areas, offices, restrooms, production areas, and the warehouse.
Clean facility areas, including overheads and floors, to maintain sanitary and pest-free conditions.
Notify a supervisor promptly when additional assistance is required.
Assist the department in other areas as needed or directed.
Maintain the housekeeping of building grounds and keep the work area clean and free of accumulations.
During downtime, take initiative to clean the employee’s work area and assist with facility housekeeping.
Ensure compliance with House-Autry quality standards.
Perform duties and responsibilities under the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
Perform other duties as assigned.
