About The Position

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for properly sanitizing the production area. This role requires the ability to understand and follow instructions, learn cleaning procedures, and potentially disassemble equipment. The technician must be able to work safely, handle chemicals properly, climb stairs, and maintain a neat and sanitary work environment. Adaptability to changing situations, effective communication with team members and leadership, and a commitment to plant safety goals are essential. The role also involves training employees as needed and maintaining dependable attendance. Flexibility to work different shifts is required, along with the ability to read and interpret various documents and understand company policies.

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to learn cleaning procedures.
Ability to work safely and participate in training specific to the job, such as proper chemical handling procedures.
Must be able to climb stairs.
Ability to work accurately and safely with equipment.
Must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
Understand Vlasic policies and procedures.
