The Sanitation Technician is responsible for properly sanitizing the production area. This role requires the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, learn cleaning procedures, and potentially disassemble equipment as needed. The technician must be able to work safely, participate in job-specific training (such as proper chemical handling), climb stairs, and work accurately and safely with equipment. Maintaining a neat and sanitary environment for machines and their surroundings is crucial. The role also involves adapting to changing situations, establishing priorities, and communicating effectively with co-workers, Crew Leaders, QA, and Team Leaders. Additionally, the technician may be required to train employees, must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain an acceptable attendance record. Flexibility to work different shifts as needed is also a requirement. The ability to read and interpret various documents, such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, is necessary. Ensuring actions align with plant safety goals and procedures, and understanding Vlasic policies and procedures are key aspects of the role. Other duties may be assigned.
