About The Position

Seneca Foods Corporation in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to join our team. Seneca Foods is one of North America's leading providers of packaged fruits and vegetables with facilities located throughout the United States. Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements.

Requirements

Must have good attention to detail.
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
Previous supervisory work experience in a foods processing facility with Sanitation responsibilities.
Knowledge of regulator rules for safety and waste disposal, knowledge of product and process requirement.

Responsibilities

Plan sanitation of plant before, during and after pack.
Maintain programs and provide training for hazard communication, carbon monoxide monitoring, hazardous waste disposal, confined space and infection control.
Supervise all shift employees, monitor product flow, quality and process in a safe and efficient program.
Work with vendors to develop more efficient and effective cleaning procedures.
Develop and document sanitation programs and processes.
Maintain chemical inventories at lowest possible levels.
Ensure that all MSDS are accurate and available.
Assist other Management and/or fill in for other shifts as necessary.
