About The Position

Cargill is hiring for a full-time Sanitation Production role in its protein and salt business in Fort Worth, Texas. The position is on the third shift and pays $21.50 per hour. The employee performs sanitation, housekeeping, and facility-support work to maintain sanitary conditions, product quality, and a safe workplace, following established schedules, safety procedures, food safety regulations, and company guidelines. Relocation reimbursement is not included.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Prior experience in sanitation, housekeeping, or facilities operations in a food manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Perform labor-intensive sanitation and housekeeping using specialized sanitation equipment and established schedules, safety procedures, and food safety regulations.
Follow safe work practices, government regulations, company guidelines, and lockout/tagout procedures to maintain sanitary conditions and product quality.
Perform basic maintenance and facility-support tasks inside and outside the facility, including shoveling snow, applying salt, painting handrails and pipes, and ordering supplies as needed.
Inspect sanitation-related equipment, including steam and tempered water hoses, and report or address issues as required.
Troubleshoot and clear plugged jets and unclog drains to maintain sanitation-system functionality.
Remove and properly dispose of waste debris, including trash, paper, insulation, and chemical waste drums, according to established procedures.
Handle cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely, use required personal protective equipment, and operate sanitation equipment.
Maintain site cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, and mopping production and non-production areas.
Perform other sanitation or facilities-related duties as assigned.
