About The Position

Pilgrim’s is hiring an hourly Sanitation Worker for its third shift in De Queen, Arkansas. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing production areas and completing required safety and food safety/GMP training. The starting base rate is $19.15 per hour, with a potential attendance bonus of $2.75 per hour if qualifications are met. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some weekend work required.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and work quickly.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to understand simple instructions and apply common sense.
• Ability to work as part of a team and work close to other employees at some stations, less than three feet apart.
• Ability to work in cool temperatures of around 40 degrees.
• Ability to stand and use hands for 8–11 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Poultry experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas.
• Complete mandatory safety training for the job assignment.
• Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training for the job assignment.
