About The Position

JBS Pork is hiring general laborers for its sanitation team in the Pork division. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing facilities, machinery, and equipment to support efficient production and maintain food safety and product quality. Work takes place in production and maintenance settings and involves exposure to chemicals, machinery, knives, slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise. The position is full-time and reports to the Sanitation Supervisor.

Requirements

• Good attendance and safety records.
• Ability to perform hands-on work at a high pace and lift over 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment effectively.
• Adherence to food safety protocols and JBS product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and sanitize facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Use personal protective equipment properly and effectively.
• Perform hands-on work at a high pace and lift over 50 pounds at times.
• Keep work areas clean and follow food safety protocols.
• Follow JBS product specifications to help ensure meat quality.
• Stay aware of surroundings and notify a supervisor of hazards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision, including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, and hallways.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
