About The Position

The Sanitation Associate follows company policies and procedures, including Aunt Millie’s Food Safety and HACCP procedures, which are critical to product safety, legality, and quality. The role works 10-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., four days per week, and pays $20.51 per hour, paid weekly.

The employee performs assigned sanitation and operational tasks during normal bakery operations, supports production as needed, follows established GMPs and safety rules, and promptly directs concerns to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Follow company policies and procedures, including Aunt Millie’s Food Safety and HACCP procedures.
• Follow established GMPs and written and spoken safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work card assignments.
• Help production keep its lines running as needed.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner on down days.
• Receive ingredients according to receiving procedures as needed.
• Properly lock out and tag out applicable equipment before cleaning.
• Empty trash cans and dumpsters when full and/or at the end of the assigned shift.
• Conduct weekly inventory as a receiver.
• Immediately inform management of unsafe or out-of-spec materials.
• Follow established GMPs and written and spoken safety rules at all times.
• Direct concerns to a supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties deemed necessary by supervision.
