About The Position
The Sanitation Associate performs duties to maintain high sanitation standards. The role involves disassembling and assembling equipment for cleaning, preparing line equipment before production runs, safely operating cleaning equipment, and following food safety, sanitation, and food quality procedures. The work takes place in a warm environment and requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stack and unstack or carry items.
- Ability to stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Comfortable working in a warm environment.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently disassemble and assemble equipment for proper cleaning.
- Set up line equipment prior to production runs.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and machines, including rack washers, power washers, steamers, washer extractors, and dryers.
- Follow Food Safety and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Food Quality Plans.
