About The Position

This entry-level, non-skilled general labor position performs production work in assigned departments while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. Production tasks may include assembly, topping, hand wrapping, and packing. The role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and being willing to cross-train or move to other areas as needed. Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be willing to be cross-trained and moved to other areas as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach throughout the workday.
• Must be able to lift, push, and carry 15 to 50 pounds, depending on the assigned area.
• Must be able to stand on hard floors for 8 to 12 hours per day.
• Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50°F to 120°F.
