About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position supporting production while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. Candidates may be considered for general labor openings in any department, including stacker/supplier, food assembly, hand wrapping, and sanitation. The role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and may involve cross-training and assignment to other areas as needed. Employees must be able to stand for 8–12 hours per day on hard floors and work in extreme hot or cold conditions ranging from 50 to 120 degrees. Physical requirements must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Prior experience is not required.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per day on hard floors and work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 120 degrees.
Availability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties in a production department, potentially including stacker/supplier, food assembly, hand wrapping, or sanitation.
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
Stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach as required.
Lift, push, and carry items weighing approximately 15–50 pounds, depending on the work area.
Work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines.
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and accept cross-training or reassignment to other areas as needed.
