About The Position

This position is responsible for entry-level, non-skilled general labor in assigned production departments while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Production tasks may include assembly, topping, hand wrapping, and packing. The role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a willingness to be cross-trained and moved to other areas as needed. The position is located in Claremont, North Carolina, and the posting lists all shifts.

Requirements

Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must be willing to be cross-trained and moved to other areas as needed.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach throughout the workday.
Must be able to lift, push, and carry 15 to 50 pounds, depending on the assigned area.
Must be able to stand on hard floors for 8 to 12 hours per day.
Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50°F to 120°F.
