About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a part-time Sandwich Maker to prepare menu items as specified and work as part of a dynamic team. The menu includes scratch-baked bread and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with whole ingredients. Afternoon and evening availability is required. Shifts vary according to customer traffic and time of year, and may run from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All locations are closed Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have afternoon and evening availability.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; shifts vary from week to week and may start as early as 7 a.m. or end as late as 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
• Must be attentive to compliance with local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation regulations.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities to sit.
• A can-do attitude and ability to work quickly and confidently are required.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of kitchen or work experience is preferred but not required.

• Multitask and learn from mistakes.
• Look for opportunities to assist other departments, including before being asked.
