About The Position

The Sam's Lift Driver manages freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment. The role maintains merchandise supply by replenishing pallets to and from racks or docks using warehouse systems or verbal instructions. It also includes basic equipment maintenance, freight quality checks, warehouse organization, and upstacking or downstacking pallets and freight. Responsibilities

• Move, scan, and handle freight manually and/or with power equipment.
• Replenish pallets of merchandise onto or from racks or docks using warehouse systems or verbal instructions.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning and inspection.
• Process stray and damaged cases; inspect pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage; cut shrink wrap as needed; and maintain records, logs, and forms.
• Use power equipment to organize the warehouse, remove pallets from pallet returns and pallet storage trailers, and upstack or downstack empty pallets and freight.
• Build trusting team relationships, communicate positively, and help develop and mentor others.
• Maintain high standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance and hold oneself and others accountable.
• Deliver results while putting customers and members first and consider how one's work affects the team's ability to serve stakeholders.
• Pursue continuous improvement, learn new technologies and skills, and support others through change.
