About The Position

Provides expert hair care services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments in a resort spa and salon setting. The salon hair technician requires exceptional technical skills, creativity, while upholding the resorts luxury standards ensuring a tranquil and rejuvenating experience.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Ability to complete hair services in the established time frame.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess or Obtain State Board Cosmetology License
• Ability to provide all hair services listed on the services menu.
• Must be able to Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 20 pounds throughout shift, up to 50% of shift
• Must be able to stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to sit, walk, crawl, climb, balance, kneel, and crawl intermittently during an 8 hour shift.
• Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment for full duration of shift.

• Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Must have the ability to cut, color, style and treat hair.
• Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
• Complete all training courses specified by management.
• Knowledge of hair care products and services with the ability to promote and sell them.
