About The Position

Manager / Educator – Drybar Cleveland at Legacy Village Are you a licensed stylist who loves to lead, teach and grow a team? Drybar Shops® is looking for a Shop Manager / Educator to run day-to-day operations and be the go-to educator for our stylists. This role is part manager, part educator and part culture-builder. You'll drive the shop's results while building real relationships with your team, coaching them on the floor and helping them grow into future leaders.

Requirements

Active Ohio state cosmetology license (required)
Management experience as a salon manager, sales manager, operations manager or similar
Experience training, educating or mentoring stylists
Strong blowout and hot tool skills, with a passion for teaching technique
A "manager for the people" mindset: you balance empathy with accountability and can lead hard conversations with fairness
Comfort with numbers, goals and KPIs, plus the ability to set expectations and delegate
Excellent organization, problem-solving and communication skills
Customer service at your core
Availability for flexible days and hours, including nights, weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

Booker or other salon booking software experience a plus

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations, scheduling and staffing coverage to keep the shop running smoothly and on budget
Monitor labor, sales and KPIs, and adjust schedules and strategies in real time
Manage inventory and weekly ordering
Keep the shop clean, visually appealing and up to Drybar marketing and display standards
Ensure full compliance with State Board requirements and company policies
Lead by example in selling memberships, retail products and add-ons
Coach the team in real time on product, membership and add-on pitches
Review client feedback and ratings, resolve concerns quickly and coach the team accordingly
Create contests, challenges and recognition that motivate the team to hit goals
Train new stylists and help them move smoothly onto the floor
Host monthly education sessions and advanced trainings based on what you see on the floor
Train the team on new product launches
Maintain service quality, timing and Drybar blowout standards, stepping in on the floor when needed
Hold monthly 1:1s with stylists and receptionists to review goals and growth plans
Embody Drybar's Heart & Soul values and create a positive, supportive environment
Recognize and celebrate wins through shoutouts, recognition cards and team events
Lead recruiting through auditions, school demos, hiring events and local beauty school relationships
Capture photo and video content with stylists for social media
