Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Sarasota is looking for an energetic, friendly Salon Assistant / Receptionist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing outstanding customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment. Cosmetology students or aspiring stylists looking to gain salon experience are encouraged to apply, though no prior cosmetology experience is required. The position involves creating a positive first impression for families, managing appointments, assisting stylists, maintaining salon cleanliness, and supporting special events like birthday parties.

Responsibilities

• Welcome families and create a fun, positive first impression.
• Check guests in and out of appointments.
• Help keep appointments running smoothly by managing customer flow.
• Assist stylists by shampooing hair and preparing clients for services.
• Clean and sanitize styling stations between appointments.
• Keep the salon clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with birthday parties and special events.
• Jump in wherever needed to help create an exceptional experience for every guest.
