About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and technically strong Salesforce Developer (Admin & Platform) – Managed Services, Informatics to support and enhance our Salesforce platform across internal operations. This role combines hands-on development with platform administration and focuses on building and maintaining scalable solutions that support multiple business functions. This individual will partner closely with internal stakeholders and reporting to the Salesforce Manager, translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions, balancing declarative and programmatic approaches while maintaining system integrity, performance, and security. Occasional travel as needed. Flexibility to support off-hours deployments or critical issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • 4–6+ years of Salesforce experience spanning both administration and development
  • Proven experience working in complex Salesforce environments (custom objects, integrations, multi-team usage)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security architecture, and platform limits
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Flows and declarative automation tools
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and external system connectivity
  • Experience with release management, deployment processes, and version control tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize system functionality
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Familiarity with environments involving safety, security, IT infrastructure, data management, or analytics
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills across multiple initiatives
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proactive problem-solving and ownership mindset
  • Ability to manage sensitive systems and maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, public sector, or security is a plus
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, FERPA, or CJIS is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security configurations
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, record types, and automation (Flows)
  • Maintain data integrity through imports, exports, deduplication, and data quality controls
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business insights
  • Monitor system performance, storage, and user adoption metrics
  • Provide end-user support, documentation, and training
  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components
  • Build and enhance Lightning Experience functionality and custom UI components
  • Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party tools
  • Write and maintain unit tests to meet Salesforce deployment standards
  • Support deployments using change sets or DevOps tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting system performance
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend declarative vs. programmatic approaches within established architecture
  • Support system architecture discussions by providing technical input and recommendations
  • Ensure solutions align with security, governance, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Manager on platform enhancements and prioritization
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and AppExchange solutions
