About The Position

We are seeking a Salesforce CPQ Developer with deep hands-on experience building and scaling end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and Lead-to-Cash (L2C) solutions in complex B2B SaaS environments. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce CPQ solutions that power accurate quoting, scalable pricing, contract lifecycle management, billing hand offs, and predictable revenue operations. You will work closely with Business Systems Analysts, Sales Ops, RevOps, Finance, Legal, and IT to translate requirements into robust, production-ready CPQ configurations and automation.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ implementation experience.
  • Proven delivery across Quote-to-Cash / Lead-to-Cash processes.
  • Strong experience with: Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick), MDQ, pricing waterfalls, approvals, renewals, amendments, Apex, SOQL, Flows, declarative automation.
  • B2B SaaS revenue model experience: Subscriptions, usage-based pricing, expansions, renewals.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud experience.
  • Deep QCP (JavaScript) development.
  • Experience operating at enterprise scale (high quote volume, large catalogs).
  • Salesforce certifications: CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator / App Builder.
  • Background in regulated or compliance-driven SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and enhance Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) solutions supporting: Product catalogs and bundles, Pricing models (one-time, subscription, usage-based), Discounts, approvals, and guardrails, Renewals, amendments, co-terming, uplifts.
  • Build and maintain Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules, MDQ, and guided selling flows.
  • Implement and optimize Quote Line Editor (QLE) performance for large quotes and high-volume sales teams.
  • Develop Quote Calculator Plugin (QCP) logic (JavaScript) where declarative solutions are insufficient.
  • Support the full revenue lifecycle: Lead → Opportunity → Quote → Order → Contract → Billing → Renewal.
  • Ensure clean downstream handoffs to Order Management, Billing, ERP, and Revenue Recognition systems.
  • Implement revenue-safe CPQ designs aligned with pricing governance and financial controls.
  • Partner with RevOps and Finance to support: Subscription lifecycle management, Revenue predictability and forecasting accuracy, Compliance with ASC-606–aligned workflows (where applicable).
  • Build and support integrations between Salesforce CPQ and: Billing platforms (Salesforce Billing, Stripe, Zuora, custom), ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials), CLM tools (Conga, DocuSign, Adobe Sign).
  • Leverage Apex, SOQL, Flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, Celigo) as needed.
  • Support data migration, synchronization, and transformation for product, pricing, and quote data.
  • Translate functional requirements into scalable CPQ technical designs.
  • Collaborate with BSAs and Product Owners on user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.
  • Lead and support UAT, regression testing, and release readiness.
  • Provide post-go-live production support and continuous optimization.
  • Ensure deployments follow Salesforce and enterprise DevOps best practices (sandboxes, change sets, CI/CD where applicable).
