About The Position

This position is on-site and will be located in our HQ - San Diego CA. The Salesforce Business Analyst will partner with the business to support the Salesforce architectural roadmap. It is a technology-focused role, where you will have a deep understanding of all CRM-related technologies to successfully partner with the business to develop use cases and define technical requirements. Some of those areas may include cross functional business units, customer stakeholders’ and compliance. This role will collaborate with the business and the bank's technical subject matter experts to identify optimal solutions to solve these situations. To be effective in this role you must be able to synthesize inputs from multiple sources and translate those into clearly articulated and usable technical requirements for the bank's technical resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant Salesforce certifications
  • 2+ years' as a Salesforce.com Administrator
  • Operates in a Scrum/Agile Environment
  • Five9, Conga, Glance, LoS, Marketing Cloud platforms
  • Other cloud and on premise based systems
  • Proven admin experience with SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, Knowledgebase & Communities
  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Salesforce1 Mobile
  • SQL

Responsibilities

  • Performs business systems and process analysis of existing systems/processes.
  • Conducts interviews and requirements gathering workshops.
  • Ensures sign-off of all artifacts.
  • Assists in testing, training plan development and training, support for users, and developing user documentation (i.e. manuals, reference guides, etc.).
  • Participates in QA process; identifies test cases; explains complex processes; aids in developing test plans.
  • Develops detailed business cases, ROI calculations, value definition, cost assessments (expense/capital), benefits, and risk analyses.
  • Conducts root cause analysis using knowledge of applications, interfaces, and technology for defect resolution.
  • Coordinates project tasks and project life cycle phases for small to mid-size projects (i.e. defining requirements, documentation, and process flows, etc.) to meet customer goals and requirements.
  • Build Salesforce.com Declarative customizations & automations, including: Architectural components: Objects, Record Types, Layouts, & Fields Automation components: Workflow rules, Flows, & Process Builders Efficiency components: Knowledgebase, Macros, Quicktext Omni-Channel components: Assignment Rules, Entitlements, LiveAgent, Glance & Five9 Integrations
  • Develop deep understanding of the internal Consumer & Commercial Banking operations to lead complex projects and integrations to improve sales and service
  • Promote business adoption of system capabilities and features (via trainings & webinars)
  • Participate in all aspects of our Agile Project Methodology (including proper Change Management)
