About The Position
Altus Group is hiring a Salesforce Business Analyst to work across business stakeholders and the Enterprise Applications team, translating go-to-market needs into practical Salesforce solutions. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Business Applications, this hands-on role connects business processes with technical delivery. The analyst will shape requirements, improve workflows, and support Salesforce configuration and implementation across the organization, helping ensure solutions meet business needs and use Salesforce capabilities effectively. The role spans Salesforce capabilities including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Revenue Cloud. It contributes to solution design and hands-on delivery, with a focus on business processes, data quality, reporting, and user experience. The position is remote and open to candidates anywhere in the United States.
Requirements
- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand business needs, assess processes, and translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution specifications.
- Knowledge of Salesforce functionality, including standard and custom objects, relationships, reports, dashboards, automation, and access controls.
- Ability to contribute directly to Salesforce configuration and deliver solutions using out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Experience supporting solution delivery through testing, validation, and implementation.
- Ability to work with technical teams to resolve issues, assess data quality, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and work through competing priorities.

Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand go-to-market requirements, assess current processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and practical solution recommendations.
- Work with developers, administrators, and Enterprise Applications team members to design and deliver Salesforce solutions.
- Contribute hands-on to Salesforce configuration and promote effective use of standard Salesforce capabilities.
- Analyze workflows, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and help implement process improvements.
- Help improve the quality of Salesforce data.
- Support reporting and dashboard requirements.
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing, validate solutions against business requirements, and investigate issues.
- Contribute to documentation, training, and change management to support user adoption.
