About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Account Executive to drive mid-market and enterprise client growth across the Chicago region with a handful of accounts outside of this market. This role focuses on expanding existing accounts while developing net-new client relationships by delivering Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate is a proven consultative seller with deep experience selling Salesforce services, who excels at navigating complex organizations and delivering measurable business value. This role partners closely with internal solution leaders, delivery teams, and Salesforce field sellers.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience in professional services sales, consulting sales, or enterprise technology solutions selling.
  • Demonstrated experience selling across the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in complex, high growth PE backed Tech companies.
  • Experience collaborating in a co-sell model with Salesforce sellers.
  • Strong understanding of structured sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, SPIN, Challenger, Strategic Selling).
  • Experience working in a matrixed, consulting-led organization.
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into technology-driven outcomes.
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Industry experience within Technology, Media and Telecom industries.
  • Passion for AI-driven transformation, automation, and modern cloud adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflow, and support data-informed task executive.
  • A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical consideration is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall relationship and communication with key clients and have full command of their business model, application landscape and how Perficient solutions deliver value.
  • Manage and execute the entire end-to-end selling process, working closely with the Perficient delivery team (initial lead inquiry, qualification of opportunities, requirements gathering, project scope definition, effort estimation, proposal development, SOW creation, contract negotiation and closing).
  • Develop and manage key relationships with Salesforce clients and Partner Alliance personnel to drive additional new business and provide proper communication on account activity.
  • Leads and manages customer engagement opportunities from lead generation, to deal review, to negotiations and closing a deal.
  • Ability to travel to client sites where needed (up to 20% travel).
