About The Position

As a Sales Trainee, you will learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training sessions and hands-on learning. The role provides exposure to all areas of the business, specialized training, and an overview of the industry before transitioning into a sales role. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The expected pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• A 2-year or 4-year degree, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Rotate through sales, logistics, customer service, transactional processes, and project processes.
