About The Position

The Sales Trainee (ST) is a training role designed to prepare the employee for an Account Sales Manager (ASM) position. The ST primarily supports sales initiatives and provides route coverage for ASMs during vacation, sickness, injury, or special projects. The role works with management to maintain customer relationships across sales, merchandising, and operations for large- and small-format off-premise stores, while servicing customers safely, productively, professionally, and in accordance with Red Bull executional standards. After successful participation in the training program and certification, the ST is eligible to interview for open ASM roles. If no ASM or otherwise qualified position is available and the ST meets performance standards, the employee may remain in the ST role for up to 12 months or until a qualified role becomes available, whichever comes first. Once a role is available, the certified ST must interview for it. If the employee is not promoted before the 12-month period expires, the assignment ends unless a manager grants an extension of up to six months based on continued high performance, certification completion, and the absence of open roles. The position is at-will, and either the Company or the ST may end the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause. The ST learns the basics of Red Bull, its distribution company, brand, and products; helps protect the brand through proper product rotation and brand flow; and builds professional customer relationships to support sales. The employee prepares for daily execution, communicates priorities with ASMs and DSMs, trains with ASMs, covers routes as needed, and supports off-route sales activities. Success is measured through sales, distribution, pricing, displays, new accounts, merchandising, Winning vs Competition (WVC), and Perfect Store Audit (PSA) measures.

Requirements

Valid U.S. driver's license.
Obtain a DOT Medical card.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.

Nice To Haves

Experience in customer service and sales is a plus.
Additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Learn the basics of Red Bull, Red Bull Distribution Company, the brand, and its products.
Protect the Red Bull brand through proper product rotation and ensure product freshness.
Set proper brand flow according to Red Bull standards.
Establish and maintain friendly, professional customer relationships to increase sales and selling.
Obtain the tools needed to execute the daily plan, including insights, displays, point-of-sale materials, and pricing information.
Communicate daily priorities effectively with ASMs and DSMs.
Train with ASMs and provide route coverage as needed.
Support the global in-store execution strategy, measured by Winning vs Competition (WVC) and Perfect Store Audit (PSA).
Meet daily KPIs for sales, distribution, pricing, displays, new accounts, and merchandising.
Support audits, blitzes, display building, and merchandising to drive sales.
Perform other duties as assigned.
