About The Position

The Sales Team Member provides a positive and efficient customer experience in their assigned area or zone. The role includes customer service, stocking and maintaining merchandise, keeping the sales floor clean and ready for customers, assisting with price changes and merchandise resets, and supporting register operations when needed. Team members also promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer readiness standards by keeping the sales floor clean, including shelves, rail tops, displays, and kick plates.
• Assist with in-store price changes, including regular, clearance, and sale prices.
• Complete nightly department recovery by facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and filling critical products.
• Train in cash register functionality and promptly assist with operating a register when customer demand requires.
• Assist with merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and coordination of freight flow to ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor.
• Promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
