About The Position

The Sales Team Member provides a positive and efficient customer experience in an assigned area or zone at Fleet Farm. The role includes customer service, maintaining merchandise and sales-floor readiness, assisting with pricing and department recovery, and supporting store operations as needed. The position requires schedule flexibility, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and climb ladders.

• Previous retail or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer readiness standards by keeping the sales floor, shelves, rail tops, displays, and kick plates clean.
• Assist with in-store price changes, including regular, clearance, and sale prices.
• Perform nightly department recovery by fronting and facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and filling critical products.
• Train in cash register functionality and promptly assist with operating a register when customer demand requires.
• Assist with merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and freight-flow coordination to ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor.
• Promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
