About The Position

The Sales Team Member provides a positive and efficient customer experience in an assigned area or zone at Fleet Farm. The role focuses on customer service, keeping merchandise available and sales areas ready, supporting store operations, and promoting company initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to climb ladders.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer readiness standards by keeping the sales floor, shelves, rail tops, displays, and kick plates clean.
• Assist with in-store price changes, including regular, clearance, and sale prices.
• Complete nightly department recovery by fronting and facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and filling critical products.
• Train in cash register functionality and promptly assist with register operations when customer demand requires.
• Assist with merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and coordination of freight flow to ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor.
• Positively promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
