About The Position

The Sales Team Member provides a positive and efficient customer experience in an assigned area or zone. The role focuses on customer service, maintaining and replenishing merchandise, keeping the sales floor clean and ready for customers, supporting price changes and department recovery, and assisting with register operations when needed. The position also supports merchandise resets, visual displays, housekeeping, freight flow, and promotion of Fleet Farm customer loyalty and credit initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and climb ladders.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer readiness standards by keeping the sales floor clean, including shelves, rail tops, displays, and kick plates.
• Assist with in-store price changes, including regular, clearance, and sale prices.
• Complete nightly department recovery by fronting and facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and filling critical products.
• Train in cash register functionality and promptly assist with operating a register when customer demand requires.
• Assist with merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and freight flow coordination to ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor.
• Promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
