Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• Licensing required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy.
• Extensive and detailed knowledge of FINRA Series 6 investment products required.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and math skills.
• Requires basic computer and business unit software skills.

Nice To Haves

• Investment sales experience a plus.
• Miscellaneous travel and overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Promote variable annuity products through inbound phone contact with financial advisors to provide marketing and presale support.
• Engage with case building by keeping up-to-date on retirement-related topics to contribute value.
• Maintain close working relationship with top representatives in an effort to increase sales.
• Understand how our investments fit into an overall, well diversified portfolio of assets by staying current on economic and financial issues that affect our business.
• Support sales efforts by assisting with case design, sales ideas, hypothetical product illustrations, and application materials.
• Provide competitive research and analysis on products and sales.
