The Sales Support Manager leads a team that uses organizational skills to build trust with clients. They play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to Sales Representatives and offering professional customer service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, project coordination, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Resourceful Problem Solver: Naturally finds solutions under pressure and doesn’t get stuck waiting for direction.
  • Exceptionally Organized: Keeps multiple priorities, people, and projects moving without letting things slip.
  • Operationally Savvy: Understands how processes, people, and systems fit together — and knows how to fix what’s broken.
  • Sales-Minded: Sees opportunities, understands customer value, and supports reps in closing deals efficiently.
  • A relationship builder who communicates clearly and confidently with customers, vendors, and teammates.
  • Detail-oriented and organized — someone who naturally keeps projects and people on track.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with sales support, project coordination, or account management (experience in construction, design, or recreation a plus).
  • Background in construction, recreation, or outdoor projects is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales representatives and leadership to prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations that align with client goals and budgets.
  • Communicate with vendors, sales representatives, creating spreadsheets, managing and distributing information for special projects.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for pricing, specifications, and product recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the CRM/ERP system to track opportunities and project status.
  • Follow up with clients to keep projects moving forward and ensure a professional, organized experience.
  • Stay up to date on promotional trends and best practices.
  • Once projects are sold, coordinate next steps including scheduling, material orders, and documentation.
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure timelines and expectations are met.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the client.
  • Manage communication between sales, construction, and leadership to keep everyone aligned.
  • Represent Midstates Recreation with professionalism and care throughout the project lifecycle.
