About The Position

This person is responsible for supporting our regional sales teams and providing superior customer support. The #1 goal is to become an expert in our sales process and systems to support the outside sales team; increase their selling time with efficiency and to allow us to better and more quickly service TierPoint’s clients. This position provides an opportunity to learn to sell leading-edge solutions for the leading Hybrid Cloud provider in the industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year sales support or related function
  • Ability to quickly learn the TierPoint sales process and systems
  • Ability to effectively learn technical products, services and solutions and readily apply new knowledge
  • Ability to maintain and expand existing account relationships.
  • Experience with Netsuite CRM and/or Callidus CPQ
  • Experience working at a technology company
  • Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job Responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and with others
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience particularly in the data center industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
  • Become an expert in our quoting and contracts systems to support the sales team.
  • Support many tasks across multiple salespeople in various geographic regions.
  • Responsible for order entry and ensuring accuracy.
  • Responsible for customer support including billing questions, service audits, renewals, and small upgrades.
  • Responsible for assisting sales with client proposals and presentations.
  • Staying current on new technology, our offerings, and opportunities to expand accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
