About The Position

Brooks Auto Care, a Great Water Garage, is seeking a Sales Support Advisor to join their team. This role focuses on ordering parts, maintaining accurate inventory, and assisting customers. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 or more years automobile, medium or heavy-duty truck parts experience and/or other experience that closely matches the Parts Counter responsibilities
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be able to work and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of how to use Microsoft Windows software.
  • Must be able to communicate in English fluently, both in verbal and in written form.
  • Must possess ability to count.
  • Must know how to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) using a calculator.
  • Must possess a current valid driver's license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Ability to stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing.
  • Ability to view and operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse
  • Able to answer phones and greet customers

  • Mechanical knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Works with technicians, service advisors, and service manager to source parts
  • Keeps technicians, Service Advisors, and manager informed on the parts delivery status
  • Stocks parts inventory and ensures accurate counts
  • Customer assistance when service manager and service advisors are occupied with other customers. Assistance includes answering phones, scheduling appointments, creating work orders, and invoicing customers for payment
  • Makes hydraulic hoses as needed
  • Allow no job to be too small or beneath oneself.
  • Fill in on tasks as needed to maintain the flow of the shop. Examples could be running a shuttle, selling tickets, checking out customers, cleaning the bathroom, picking up a part, or any other task that can be safely completed which is needed.
  • Any other task as assigned by Company or direct supervisor
