About The Position

This position is located at the general office of Riverence Provisions LLC. This person works within the organization managing and facilitating customer orders. Riverence is a fully vertically integrated company controlling all aspects of its food business from inception to market.

Requirements

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Knowledge of software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and database management.
  • Proficient at spelling, punctuation, grammar and oral communication.
  • Discretion, good judgment and organizational abilities required.
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to communicate in order to adhere to safety standards.
  • Ability to resolve difficult or stressful customer issues.

  • Ability to work under pressure with deadlines.

  • Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the securing of orders from customers and fielding any complaints that they have with the primary goal of customer retention.
  • Manage potential customer samples.
  • Communicate pricing, provide product information, coordinate deviated delivery schedules, handle complaints using discretion to appease customers in each unique circumstance based on their best judgment in a timely manner to retain customers.
  • Provide timely follow-up with necessary company departments.
  • Handle a number of accounts and strive to build a healthy business relationship with buyers speaking with many at least weekly.
  • Make significant decisions negotiating prices, obligating the company to freight costs, etc.
  • Negotiate price with other customers on misrouted products.
  • Investigate shipment claims to determine fault.
  • Field inquiries from potential customers and work with Regional Managers for follow-up.
  • Work cooperatively with others promoting a team environment.
