Experienced Sales & Service Garage Door Technician, Dallas, TX $10K Sign-On
About The Position
This is a high-performance, in-home sales role with technical execution. You will walk into homes where customers already need service (NOT a door-to-door sales job), diagnose the problem, present options confidently, close the job on the spot, and then complete the work yourself. Top performers close 80%+ of opportunities, consistently present options the customer actually needs, earn 5-star reviews by delivering both service and experience, take ownership of their numbers, and demonstrate integrity, communicate clearly, and execute cleanly. This role is for experienced technicians who are already closing jobs in the home, confident selling repairs and upgrades face-to-face, and able to perform the work themselves at a high level. This is NOT an entry-level role.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (3+ years driving record)
- Ability to lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, and work in varying temperatures.
- Willingness to undergo criminal background check and drug test (THC excluded).
- Basic comfort with navigation apps, Google tools, tablets, and software.
- Reading and basic math skills for measurements and payments.
- Minimum of 1 year in garage door sales and service
- Currently employed by a reputable Garage Door company
- Closing jobs in the home
- Confident selling repairs and upgrades face-to-face
- Able to perform the work yourself at a high level
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of experience for a $10,000 sign-on bonus
Responsibilities
- Close jobs by building trust fast with homeowners, clearly explaining problems, options, and pricing, confidently asking for the sale and handling objections, and maximizing every opportunity without being pushy.
- Execute by replacing springs, motors, rollers, and full systems, installing openers, keypads, and wiring, and ensuring every job is done right the first time.
- Deliver a 5-star customer experience on every job, generate repeat and referral business, and represent the company as a professional subject matter expert.
