Requirements

  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; you connect easily with customers, contractors, and teammates.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your schedule and priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eager to learn and grow—whether it’s new products, industry trends, or customer needs.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems, digital tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and turn challenges into wins.
  • Commitment to upholding SRM Concrete’s values of service, integrity, and teamwork in every interaction.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to job sites and customer locations.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with exposure to office, field, and job site environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or the construction/building materials industry is helpful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.

Responsibilities

  • Seek out untapped opportunities, open new doors, and help customers realize their vision by connecting them with the best in ready mix concrete.
  • Dive deep into your customers’ needs, become an early and valued part of their project planning, and guide them with expertise and care.
  • Champion the entire sales journey: From the first introduction to the final handshake—and every step in between—you’ll be the driving force behind customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Listen with empathy, strategize with creativity, and deliver results that exceed expectations.
  • Work hand-in-hand with leadership, operations, billing, dispatch, and quality control to ensure every customer experience is seamless and memorable.
  • Be the face of SRM Concrete at networking events and in the community, sharing our story and our commitment to service.
  • Support your teammates, share your knowledge, and help everyone around you achieve their best.
