About The Position

This role, based in an office environment, serves as the primary contact for customer calls, supporting daily dispatch operations to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete. The position involves communicating schedules with drivers, plant operations, and customers, entering and tracking orders, monitoring job progress, and promoting a strong safety culture. It is a seasonal, full-time position during peak months (approximately 8 months per year), with potential temporary layoff during winter and rehire as business needs increase.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, especially in a high-volume phone environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming customer calls, providing support and directing inquiries appropriately
  • Learn and support daily dispatch operations to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete
  • Communicate schedules and changes clearly with drivers, plant operations, and customers
  • Assist with entering, tracking, and updating orders using dispatch and production systems
  • Monitor job progress and support adjustments to schedules as needed
  • Support a strong safety culture by promoting compliance with company and regulatory standards
